Urticaria is not the same as MCAS
Urticaria is an independent disease with different causes. Even if individual symptoms overlap, in most cases there is no mast cell activation syndrome from our experience.
A premature determination on MCAS can lead to the fact that other causes are not sufficiently clarified and valuable time is lost. We therefore first take urticaria seriously as an independent disease and recommend a thorough medical examination before pursuing further questions.
