This form of effect is often not visible, but, it is crucial.
In our work, we see again and again what becomes possible when people regain orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\nMany of those affected were able to resume their gainful employment, cope with their everyday lives or take responsibility for their families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For them, it means getting a piece of life back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the real added value of our work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reality: Shift of responsibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
In recent years, it has become increasingly apparent that responsibility for care is being shifted more towards individuals.
Affected persons and relatives must<\/p>\n\n\n\n- \n

- Organize care that is structurally lacking in many areas<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Making decisions under uncertainty<\/li>\n\n\n\n

At the same time, structural gaps remain.
In recent years, the gap has widened further, while the cost of medical services has increased significantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\nWe are increasingly seeing bills for several thousand euros in expenses that many affected people and their families cannot afford.
<\/p>\n\n\n\nOur role in this area of tension<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
We are moving right at this interface. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We support where orientation is lacking and accompany people who are confronted with complex situations medically, socially and in everyday life.
We do not replace existing systems, but we make a significant contribution to ensuring that people remain able to act in these systems.
<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhat we do and where the limits are<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Most of our work is consciously independent and freely accessible.
At the same time, it has been shown for years that this form of support is not sustainable without a stable framework.
The accompaniment of particularly severely affected people is time-consuming, continuous and currently not refinanced in the system.
<\/p>\n\n\n\nWhy support is needed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Social responsibility cannot be fully transferred to individuals.
At the same time, people and organizations are needed who are willing to step in where systems do not work.
In order for this work to succeed, we need support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n- \n
- Ensuring continuous support for people who are particularly severely affected<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Building stable, independent structures<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Development of information and orientation services<\/li>\n\n\n\n
- Relief in situations where existing systems do not work<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
