In doing so, we take into account the special physical sensitivity, the susceptibility to stress of the nervous system and the experience of loss of control that many sufferers have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Meditation Can Make Sense in Urticaria <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Chronic or recurrent diseases such as urticaria do not only affect the skin. Rather, they affect the entire stress, nerve and regulatory system. At the same time, those affected experience that medical measures alone are not enough to regain inner peace, safety and orientation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meditative practice can start at this point because it works on several levels. On the one hand, it affects the stress response of the nervous system. On the other hand, it supports a finer body perception without being overwhelmed. Starting from an earlier practice, she later deepened scientifically. <br><br>With the so-called paradigm shift of the Third Wave, meditative and mindfulness-based procedures increasingly found their way into psychology, psychotherapy and medicine. In this context, neuroscientific research into mediation also became increasingly important. <br><br>International research was particularly influential, among other things:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the effects of regular meditation on the stress and cardiovascular system<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Regulation of Autonomous Processes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the measurable effect of short units, e.g. 15 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Early studies with Buddhist monks, in which, among other things, compassion mediation and its physical effects were examined. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>On this basis, two scientific works on the effect of meditative practice were created.
